What does Float Left mean?
Float Left is a common style used to align elements on a page in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Want to learn more about CSS? Apply!
I have applied… when should I expect to hear back?
Applications will be accepted until October 31st. At that point the Selection Committee with review the applications and select a handful of students with whom they want to interview. All applicants will be notified whether or not they have made it to the interview process by the 10th of November.
What will the interview process be like?
Each finalist will have a 15 min interview with the Selection Committee, which will be scheduled for a specific time. In addition students will participate in a group activity with other applicants.
What kind of nonprofits will Float Left Labs be working with?
Float Left Labs will be focusing on working with small and medium size non profits (those with an annual expenditure less than $500,000), who are locally based. We do not have a specific type of non profit we work with- they can all use our services. In the first year Float Left Labs worked with the Nashua Senior Center, Families in Transition, NHBSR, and MYPN.
What will the schedule be like at the Float Left Labs office?
Fellowship students can work up to 20 hours a week, if work is available. The individual fellowship students will help determine their schedule (to work around class schedules and other restrictions) with the directors. Each week the entire team holds a meeting on Saturday mornings at 11 AM.
